Clinical Training Specialist

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The main purpose of this position is to help our customers make a smooth initiation to using the enVast™ thrombectomy device. This person will also be key for collecting feedback to shape marketing and training programs and contribute to ongoing projects within the sales & marketing department.

This position requires more than 50% of travel time and planning upcoming trips 2 to 4 weeks in advance will be necessary.

This position requires excellent presentation and communication skills as well as clinical and technical expertise, as the Clinical Training Specialist will meet with customers to understand their current practices and needs. Based on these needs, the Clinical Training Specialist will make recommendations and provide training on how to obtain the best performance from the enVast™ product range.

Primary customer interactions will include the physicians and staff involved in STEMI endovascular interventions (interventional cardiologists, cath lab technicians and nurses). 

The Clinical Training Specialist will also be in constant contact with local distributor teams.

When not physically at a customer site, the Clinical Training Specialist will support current customers, prepare for future trips, conduct follow-ups with recently installed customers and contribute to marketing and sales activities from his/her home office.

Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge of the cardio-vascular space is essential, therefore a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the space and minimum of 2 years in the Cath-lab environment is required.

Candidates must have medical device in-service and clinical training experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from
four-year college or university.

Language Skills

Good oral and written communication skills in English is required.

Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.

Computer Skills

Ease with MS Office programs is required.

Geographical Scope

This role has international scope with initial goal of developing Vesalio footprint in Europe.

Place of Work

Home office: requirement to live close to a large European hub.

Travel Requirements

International travel: needs to have EU passport with travel expected more than 50% of the time.
